SOME GUY
aka Deej Fabian moonlights as a DJ, music curator, director and producer for events and consultancies. He is mainly an open format DJ, with a mix of current, future bass, future rnb, jazz, soul, hip hop, alternative/indie, house, funk and disco.
His versatility with multiple genres allows him to curate well paced sets may they be opening, prime time or closing. His read on his crowd is sharp and plays to his strengths while trying to slip in music that could break the mold and monotony of regular club and bar nights. As a regular DJ in multiple bars in Poblacion, Makati and BGC, his music has brought him to different regions in the country and play for multiple brands like Johnnie Walker, Jameson, Botanist, Bench, Human, OASIS Gaming, Deo Gracias, Cultivate Coffee, Bastard, Nobody Clothing, THE Clothing, MAFK, Daily Grind, Escolta Block, STATUS Magazine, Youngstar, and much more.
SOME GUY is also a well trusted cultivator of well constructed line ups for music events — bringing his knowledge on the local underground scene and the advertising world, treading on the obscure and the mainstream, he manages to bring together sound and taste fit for the occassion. With Masskara in Bacolod as one of his biggest annual projects, he works with Homegrown BCD to provide a different taste and colour to MASSKARA with his line up from LOGICLUB and guests from close knit circles from Manila.
SOME GUY can be found playing regularly as a resident of OTO, Annex House, Onlypans and El Deposito, in Manila and The Shrine of Satisfaction, in La Union.
